This workshop will focus in depth on approaches to memoir writing. Writing can be in poetry or in prose.
The Presenters will discuss techniques of memoir writing and explore some selected readings and examples of this genre.
There will be time for writing activities and sharing and commenting on work.
The extended time of the workshop will allow for more sharing and gaining extensive feedback.
Each person should bring several copies of their writing, and we will work in pairs or groups of three depending on the number of participants.
Those participants from the fall 2022 workshop may bring drafts of their memoir pieces written in or outside of the class. And we welcome new participants who want to develop skills in writing memoir!
